My guess is you’re either using a Tecno mobile phone or you know someone using it (I know am right).
Anyways, Tecno has carved a spot for themselves in Nigeria’s mobile world, and I ain’t joking when I say that. Stats have proven that 1 in 10 people now own a Tecno product, so what are you thinking??
Lets talk about the connectivity…
Tecno has proven to be a step higher from the “normal Chinese branded phones” we’re used to in Nigeria, boasting the first Chinese phone to offer the “notoriously clamoured java apps for phones”, accepting and smoothly running popular browsers like Opera which you can download here, UCWEB and also cool chat apps like 2go, Mozart and other top brands.
Configuring and using Java apps on Tecno
Configuring tecno is quite simple, as is installing java apps on it. To install apps on Tecno, you can just send the jar files from a PC or mobile to your phone, it takes little less than 2minutes to install, depending on the size of the app.
To configure your tecno to use your mobile apps, navigate to your games or apps menu (where your mobile apps are), click on menu, go to network settings, change Java Default to NO. Then you can edit your settings and input any ip, port and all.
O.k lets checkout some of the best tecno products that are actually good to browse the net and hook up with friends via chat apps. and most importantly, are very cost friendly!.
O.k my favourite products are the High Definition products (the HD family) like the HD30, HD71, HD10, but I really do like the T8 for it’s interactive touch-screen and the added Wi-Fi (not all less thsn 20k Nokia’s come with them, do they??). Anyways, the HDseries and the touch-screen group are the best set of Tecno products to use for surfing and chatting anyday, anytime, they can even connect to the most popular chat service in Nigeria 2go which most if not other Chinese branded phones don’t offer (I don’t know why).
N.B: The Jar maximum file size of Tecno is 500KB, but you can always download and install more than that, it’ll only hang your device đŸ˜‰
Conclusion
It’s all about your favorite, your pocket and your taste when it comes to design, speed, and strength.
Tecno is a good mobile brand, great for communications and internet freedom with a bit of a downside in it’s processing speed. Cheers!
