If you just got an Apple Pencil, it’s quite normal to be worried about how to keep it safe. One would expect Apple’s very own Smart keyboard to come with a compartment to keep the Pencil but this is not the case. I had to get a third-party holder on Amazon that works great.
Basically, this Fintie Pencil holder is made from an elastic band and synthetic leather. I’ve had it for about two months now and it’s still as good as new. It works for the 12.9 iPad Pro and the 10.5 iPad Pro; it’s a one-size-fits-all protective case that keeps you from losing your Pencil. It has a sleeve that holds the Apple Pencil in place and it’s pretty tight, but a flap still keeps it from falling out.
Below there’s a tiny compartment for the adapter.
It’s easy to install it on the iPad Pro case or Smart Keyboard. If you’re installing it on your Smart Keyboard, completely detach the keyboard from the iPad Pro. The best place to put it is the middle segment. Just slide it in and it’s in place. It doesn’t get in the way when the keyboard folds. There are several colors available to go with whatever color of keyboard or case you already have for your iPad Pro.
