Well, it’s finally here. We mentioned about three weeks ago in this post about giving a full hands-on review of the new Tecno R7 as soon as we get hold of the review copy. It came in this afternoon and I was literally wowed. Tecno silenced a lot of critics with this latest addition to the Live Smart family.
In this crowded mobile market, it takes a product like Tecno R7 to actually get some real attention from tech-oriented individuals who care about stuffs like Gorilla glass and quad-core processors (hexa-core in the case of Tecno R7). The device is pretty big with a 5.5″ sexy display you just gotta love.

The device comes in five colors (black, white, champagne gold, sapphire and bronze) and we got the black one.
As expected, there’s a free power bank and a free flip cover to protect the screen. The device was set up in less than a minute and taking a look at the UI, I saw a lot of improvements.
Well, it seems Tecno will be pushing OTA update to this device but hey, let’s keep that till next week when the full review gets published.
