MTN New Data Plans And Subscription Codes

MTN New Data Plans And Subscription Codes

Wale Adekile
October 9, 2011

There seems to be a healthy competition going on in between Nigerian mobile operators as we’ve witnessed a drop in internet tariffs over the last couple of months. Glo set it off by offering 200MB of data for just a thousand naira and MTN responded with a slash in its tariff, offering 250MB for 1,300 naira. The table below shows MTN mobile data plan as at October 2011.

These are mobile data plans but they can be used on notebooks as well. You only need to connect your mobile phone to your PC and you’re good to go. Below are the regular data plans made for computers and notebook.

Bundle Plan Inclusive Data Validity Period Price (N) Activation Codes
Daily 150MB 24hours 500 Text 103 to 131
Night 3GB 9pm-6am 2,500 Text 102 to 131
Weekend 3GB 9pm(Fri )-6am (Mon) 3,000 Text 108 to 131
Daytime 3GB 9am-9pm( 30days) 6,000 Text 107 to 131
Monthly 5GB 24/7 8,000 Text 101 to 131

The data plan look pretty cheap but it’s not good enough if you ask me. 1MB can go for just 1 naira, don’t you think?
