Infinix Note 3: Unboxing and First Impressions

In the last few months, Infinix has released 3 different smartphones: the Hot S which was reviewed here, the Hot 4 and the Note 3. The Hot S was described as an almost perfect device except for the hybrid SIM slot. Infinix Note 3 was released about a month ago but we just got to unbox the device earlier in the week.

Well, if you’re getting a 6-inch device, you shouldn’t complain about how big it is, you already know what to expect. Looking at the Note 3 for the first time, I wouldn’t say the design is particularly spectacular. Although there’s a slight change when compared with the Note 2, the wow factor isn’t really strong.

Here are the items found in the box besides the phablet:

  • 1 USB cable
  • 1 charger head
  • 1 pair of earphones
  • 1 tempered glass
  • 1 Ejector pin

Infinix Note 3 has a huge 6-inch screen.

The device has all the buttons placed on the right side. Thankfully, there’s a separate microSD card slot on this side to compensate for the measly 16GB storage.

The bottom has the micro-USB port, speaker grill and microphone opening.

On the left side is the tray housing two micro-SIM cards.

dual LED flash at the back stays between the 13MP camera and fingerprint sensor.

A 5MP camera is at the front, aided by a flash for low-light selfies.

The device is already available on Jumia for ₦62,000. A full review will be published next week.
