Procrastination is a thief of time and putting an end to it may seem impossible once it is fully encouraged. Possibly, procrastination has been your way of life and it has been fully transferred into your blogging career which may be very difficult to combat with, and as well put an end to.Panic not and stop getting scared of the issue of procrastination in your way of life and as well in your blogging carer. Putting the tips below into practice will definitely help you to put an end to procrastination.

Procrastination in blogging

1. Set a break time

All work without play makes Jack a dull boy. If blogging seems difficult or cumbersome, setting a break time will definitely be the first thing to put into consideration. For instance, sitting in front of your PC for hours may be irritating your eye as a result of the emitted rays from the system screen, and as result of this; setting a break time is definitely one of the best way to combat this. For every 4-hours, you may choose to have a break of 20-30 minutes and during the break time, you may decide to take a scroll up and down, stretch your body, rotate your body joint, make calls or flash your colleagues, and crack some jokes with people around you to make you feel at ease for a while before going back to your PC.

2. Blog in a conducive environment

Some bloggers place less value on this point for the sake of blogging and publishing blog post every day. Imagine blogging while you are lying down on your bed, how do you feel? To be sincere, I got pissed off whenever I lied on my bed writing my blog post, and I felt sleepy on time. But comparing to when I sat on a chair, comfortably sitting with a table to place my PC on while writing my blog articles, I found it more interesting, and I discovered I spent more time than I do when I lied down on my bed and this has really helped me to fighting against sleeping when I post at night.

3. Have an agenda

Writing down how things should be done will really help you to fight against procrastination. Everything is all about orderliness, if you are not orderly, you will be disordered and everything you are doing will definitely be jam-packed. You don’t need to publish 10 articles per-day, even per-week, but publish your article at the right time when you deem it fit according to your agenda since choosing blogging as a passion may not be executed in a full time way and if you do, an AGENDA is definitely needed.

Don’t just start blogging without priority, passion, and feeling to do more than necessary, else procrastination will definitely set in. Placing priority on what you love doing brings about developing the habit of spending more time with it, and putting it as a must for you to do which will definitely makes your passion your hobby.

5. Be positive

If you can start thinking positively then everything in blogosphere is definitely attainable for you. I love the spirit of conviction that tells me I can do it and you too can do it as well even when you cannot do anything but just keep yourself on the safer side of what you can achieve by thinking positively.
