How to Make Rage or Funny Faces on Facebook Chat / Messaging

How to Make Rage or Funny Faces on Facebook Chat / Messaging

January 13, 2012

I don’t know whether to call this a hack or a hidden facebook feature but a reddit user posted this late last year and I kind of like it. Apart from those facebook smilies I wrote about here, you can make rage faces on facebook chat and messaging. These are little icons expressing facial expressions. These faces can be funny as well as strange to someone seeing it for the first time. The rage faces just didn’t pop out of nowhere, it has a simple logic behind it which will be explained later. Below is a list of the codes to display these faces either on facebook chat or messgaing.

how to make rage faces and funny faces on facebook chat

  • Troll face: [[171108522930776]]
  • ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME: [[143220739082110]]
  • Not bad Obama: [[169919399735055]]
  • Me Gusta: [[211782832186415]]
  • Mother of God: [[142670085793927]]
  • Cereal Guy: [[170815706323196]]
  • LOL Face: [[168456309878025]]
  • NO Guy: [[167359756658519]]
  • Yao Ming: [[218595638164996]]
  • Derp: [[224812970902314]]
  • Derpina: [[192644604154319]]
  • Forever Alone: [[177903015598419]]
  • Not Bad: [[NotBaad]]
  • F*ck yeah: [[105387672833401]]
  • Challenge accepted: [[100002727365206]]
  • Okay face: [[100002752520227]]
  • Dumb bitch: [[218595638164996]]
  • Poker face: [[129627277060203]]
  • Okay face: [[224812970902314]]
  • Socially awkward penguin: [[98438140742]]
  • Rage face: [[FUUUOFFICIAL]]
  • Lamp: [[100001256102462]]
  • No: [[167359756658519]]
  • MOG: [[142670085793927]]
  • Feel like a sir: [[168040846586189]]
  • Forever alone christmas: [[125038607580286]]

There are many more and like I said, there’s a simple logic behind this trick. Every number in those codes corresponds to a certain facebook profile and inserting any profile ID in between those double brackets displays the picture for that profile. You can try it with your own profile or a friend’s profile just to display the person’s profile picture as an emoticon on chat.

To get the profile ID of any facebook user, you can go through this post. You only need to know the profile ID and display the person’s face in form of an icon by typing this: [[PROFILE_ID]]

This only works on facebook chat and messaging, not on status updates and comments. It won’t work on facebook mobile either.
