When buying a smartphone, one of the things people consider most is their budget. When going for a budget phone however, a lot of people often ignore the fact that these devices have their limitations. If you’re looking for devices between ₦10,000 t0 ₦15,000, there are great devices you can get within this price range.

Innjoo Halo

This is one the latest budget phones in the market right now offering value for money. Also, it’s one of the few in this price range sporting a 1GB RAM. It has an 8GB ROM, a 5-inch with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels. It’s a 3G phone with dual SIM slots. It has a battery capacity of 3200mAh and it’s the phone with the highest battery capacity on this list. It presently sells for ₦13,500.

Tecno Y4

Tecno Y4 is one of the best best selling budget phones right now. It’s one of the few devices in this price range with a 1GB RAM capacity. It has a 1GHz dual-core processor and has a battery capacity of 1800mAh. Tecno Y4 has a 8GB ROM, a 4.0″  IPS capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels.It has a 5MP rear camera with a 0.3MP camera. It presently sells for ₦14,800 on Konga.

Karbonn Sparkel V

Karbonn may not be so popular in Nigeria but it’s one of the bestselling brands in India. This device also has a 1GB RAM but comes with a 4GB ROM. It’s got a 4.5″ screen, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It has a 1.3GHz quad-core processor with a battery capacity of 1700 mAh. It’s only available on Jumia (for exactly ₦15,000), it’s not yet on Konga.

Blue Gate BG4i

Blue Gate are best know for their other electronic products but they recently debuted their budget smartphones. Blue Gate BG4i is a budget phone sold  for about ₦11,500. It has a 1GB RAM, a 4GB ROM and a 4″ screen. Blue Gate BG4i sports a 8MP rear camera, a 2MP front-facing camera, a 1.3GHz 1.3GHz dual-core processor, a 1300mAh battery. It’s a 3G dual SIM phone.

Lenovo A319 has a 512MB RAM, a 4″ screen, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera. It has a 4GB ROM and a 1.3GHz dual-core processor.

Huawei Y3C is another device with a 512MB RAM. It has a 4.0‎”‎ TFT Capacitive Touch Screen, a 4GB ROM, a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

This is not really a smartphone but a portable tablet. It’s got a 7″ screen, a 512MB RAM and a 8GB ROM. It’s 3G enabled. On Jumia., it goes for 14,000  but the price is a bit higher on Konga.
