5 Reasons why Blogging is Better than a Corporate Job

5 Reasons why Blogging is Better than a Corporate Job

Wale Adekile
July 15, 2013

On my first guest post on this great blog, we all rub minds together on how procrastination is drastically affecting the blogging community and why this horrible spirit needs to be battled with and conquered if really one needs a breakthrough in blogosphere.

However, today’s post is taking a different dimension which I believe everybody will have at least one or two points to contribute at the end in the comment box.

Taking a closer look at internet as a world on its own this day, many young and talented people are choosing blogging or other online jobs as a career or part-time job and I wonder why so many people don’t even bother to go for a white collar job or a corporate job as the case may be, instead they prefer blogging to any sort of job out there.

And in my final findings, I came out with the following five points why blogging should be considered a lot better and preferable that a white collar or corporate job.

1. You are the master

There is no doubt about this that you are in-charge, no one to ask you why, when, how and what but you have all the questions in your blog draft.

As a matter of fact, everybody want to be the master, even me. He who knows what freedom is will definitely dream of becoming a master or boss one day.

Although having a head-way in the blogosphere is not achievable in a single day but with commitment, determination, patience, endurance, and perseverance, the dream of becoming a boss one day is sure and that is when you start earning.

2. Becoming an internet celebrity

Everyone loves to be celebrated either you want to admit it or not or not, you love to be celebrated but when there is no way, you accept your fate and let your destiny speak.  Blogging is not just a community but an industry where very many people strive to survive like it is in other industries.

With the needed skills, hard work and patience, blogging can definitely turn you to an internet celebrity when your blog gets so popular it’s viewed by everyone from all over the world.

3. You get rest of mind

Taking bank job for instance, you must resume work very early in the morning and you never can predict the closing hour most especially during the hectic days in the banking sector.

Successful bloggers have the  time to do things the way they want , the way they like it and the when they feel like they should do it. But when you are under the control of a boss, then you will understand what it takes to be a servant in any industry. Although you may  become a master or boss to some people within the company as time goes on but someone is still dictating for you.

Choosing blogging as a career with full determination, you can make a successfully live the life of your dreams and earn your cool cash from the comfort of your room via the power of internet if you can exercise your prowess in a unique way and package your content wisely.

4. Mentorship

A successful blogger is an online teacher who solves human problems through his/her creative knowledge. Even, through blogging some people become a soul winners, settle dispute within families, settle marriage disputes, give seminars in a diverse way just from the comfort of their home. Now tell me, is there any happiness greater than these when people make reference to your as their mentors, whom they look forward to before they take any rigid decision?

5. Earning

One of the greatest part of blogging is making money from it. Many pro-bloggers do makes thousands of dollars from blogging from the comfort of their home without much stress outside the normal blogging stresses, and as matter of fact, all jobs are stressful because you will have to work for what you are to be paid for. Many bloggers earn more than what any cooperate body can offer. Now tell me why won’t people leave white collar job for blogging when thousands of dollars are made monthly by successful bloggers?

Your view: What do you see to this? Is blogging a better industry than corporate or white collar job? What do you think?
