March 31, 2016

In an event in Ikeja earlier today, Tecno Mobile unveiled the much awaited Boom J8 after weeks of teasers. The launch confirmed quite a lot of rumors about the device and dispelled some. Tecno Boom J8 is a mid-range device, an upgrade to the Boom J7 released last year. You can read the review of the music-centric device here.

Tecno Boom J8 is no different. It’s also a music phone built specifically for music lovers. The design is quite different and offers a breath of fresh air though one can actually see a bit of iPhonesque qualities in the aesthetics.

Representatives from the Standard Organaization of Nigeria, Consumer Protection Council and Nigeria Communications Commission were present at the event. Here are some of the pictures at the event.
